The County of Maui sets our taxi rates as follows:
- **Initial Fare**: $5.00 for the first ⅛ mile or less (or 45 seconds of waiting time)
- **Additional Distance**: $0.50 for each additional mile or fraction thereof
- **Waiting Time**: $0.50 for each additional 45 seconds of waiting time
- **Baggage Handling**: $0.50 per piece of baggage handled by the driver
- **Special Items**:
- $10.00 for each motorized wheelchair, large pet crate, surfboard, or bicycle
- Non-motorized wheelchairs transported at no charge when accompanied by the user
- **Airport Pick-Up Fee**: An additional $5.00 may apply
- **Flat Rate Charge**: $20.00 when traveling 3 miles or less
- **Shared Rides**: Passengers not traveling together but sharing a cab will each pay the metered rate with a 20% discount applied to the fare.

If you're traveling with children, please inform us when making your reservation so we can provide clean cars and booster seats at no extra cost (charges apply for two or more seats).
